Many gathered outside the Embassy of Bangladesh in Washington D.C. to protest against the lack of response from the Bangladesh Government to help their Muslim brothers and sisters who are being raped, killed, and tortured by the hands of murderous monks and nationalists with the full acknowledgement of the government in Myanmar.

A delegation by Hizb ut Tahrir America delivered a letter to Embassy of Bangladesh to remind them of their Islamic duty,

((وَإِنِ اسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ))

“And if they seek your assistance in the Deen then you must help them.” [TMQ Al-Anfal: 72].

The letter specified to open the borders to our Rohingya brothers and sisters, aid the refugees, and use the strength of their army to deter their oppressors from carrying out further atrocities.

The actions and objective of the protest:

1. Muslims must not rely on the “International Community” to solve the affairs of the Ummah. We reminded the Muslims, how the “International Community” has been conspiring against Central Africa, Gaza, and Syria? The leaders of the “International Community” are the same colonialist nations who enslaved the Ummah for hundreds of years and continue to subjugate them through their foreign policy. The “International Community” serves their selfish interest, and not the interest of the Ummah.

Oh you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as supporters, they are but supporters to one another…” [TMQ Al-Madiah: 51]

2. We called upon the Sincere Military Officers of Bangladesh to rise up and defend the life and honor of our Rohingya brothers and sisters. We reminded the Sincere Military Officers of Bangladesh that they are the inheritors of Khalid bin Waleed (RA), Muhammed bin Qasim, Shah Jalal, and Muhammad Khilji. We reminded them to restore their honor and dignity and to serve the interest of the Muslims not the West.

3. We demand for our shield, the KHILAFAH «إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ…»Only the Imam is a shield, behind whom you fight and you protect yourself with…” (Muslim). The atrocities against the Rohingya are happening because we have no shield to protect the Ummah. We called the Sincere Military Officers of Bangladesh to be our Ansar and restore the shield, and help restore the Khilafah upon the method of the Prophethood.

4. We reminded the Muslims living in the West to help our Rohingya brothers and sisters. We reminded them that our voice is strong, the Ummah is one and we are one. We encouraged everyone to speak out against the atrocities, to raise awareness, to echo the demand puts forward to the Sincere Military Officers in Bangladesh.
