Nobody doubts America’s commitment for its aggressive approach to send hellfire missile to kill Muslims that are of “military age” whether it be Yemen, Somalia, or Pakistan. Obama has demonstrated that if the US Government wants to perform extra judicial assassination on its own citizen (Anwar Al-Awlaki) without due process she can and she can kill a 16-year-old US citizen (Abdulrahman Al-Awlaki) without any justification, she can also do that.
Nobody doubts America’s commitment to its version of “justice”. Her countless support of third world dictators, selling weapons to world leaders who use those weapons on their own people, her support of black sites to perform sadistic torture, and the countless actions that highlight American Exceptionalism.
After 9/11 the US Government went after Iraq even though Saddam never went after “Americans” and new bases were being propped up everywhere from Azerbaijan to Tanzania even though those countries never went after Americans. The cowboy foreign policy method has not really changed from one administration to the next.
The arrogant attitude of the elite is quite clear and facts on the ground show a system that only works for the few as America still leads the world in incarceration, highest divorce rate, teen pregnancy rate, income inequality, antidepressants usage, debt (credit card, mortgage, student loan, government) and etc.
The cowboy reach has put a massive dent in America’s overall debt. The war in Iraq and Afghanistan is responsible for nearly 1/3rd of the overall $16 Trillion debt. The “reach” may not have a limit, but it sure does have an impact in America. More money has been spent on the Military than Education, Infrastructure, Health and so on.
Allah SWT has dealt with the arrogant who transgressed against him and his messengers from Iblis, Nimrod, Fira’un, Thamud, Abu Jahal, and we all know that their arrogance is what led to their own downfall.
The leaders of those who were arrogant among his people said to those who were counted weak – to such of them as believed: “Know you that Salih is one sent from his Lord.” They said: “We indeed believe in that with which he has been sent.” Those who were arrogant said: “Verily, we disbelieve in that which you believe in.” (TMQ Al Raf 75-76)
