Islam First, Al-Quds First, Palestine First

Trump’s announcement recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of the illegal Zionist entity provided the Arab regimes the perfect media opportunity to reject, counter and state, “Islam First, Al-Quds First, Palestine First.”

But this was expecting too much. Besides customary rhetoric of empty slogans from Erdogan, through to Abdullah (of Jordan) and Rouhani – making such a statement would de-legitimize each regime one after the other – and naturally upset their masters.

Rather speaking at the World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland, Trump repeated his, “America First” statement.

Trump also threatened that the US might withhold “hundreds of millions” in aid money for Palestinians if they did not return to peace talks, adding, “That money is on the table, and that money’s not going to them unless they sit down and negotiate peace.”

This provided the Arab regimes, in particular, Mahmoud Abbas, another media opportunity to salvage a degree of honor and respect from the Muslims. But story-end is well known…more empty rhetoric and lip service.

The following points should be noted:

  • Mahmoud Abbas’s calling the recognition of Jerusalem by the US as, “the slap of the century,” itself was a slap in the face of Jerusalem and the Muslims. The issue is not the US Embassy moving to Jerusalem, nor whether it becomes the capital of the Zionist state. These are by-products of the more fundamental issue, i.e., The whole of Palestine, including Jerusalem, has been occupied for over 70 years – and all of it requires to be liberated from the Zionist filth
  • The arrogance of Trump is because he is afforded it by the regimes in the Arab world. Though they witnessed, as the world has, his unashamed enmity towards Muslims and Islam – these regimes are falling over each other to please Trump and secure the wider American policy in the region. Trump was correct when he stated that America First was, “…not America Alone” – for the Arab regimes have kept him company
  • The threat of US withholding aid provides a sharp resemblance to the situation faced by Sultan Abdul Hameed II, when offered huge amounts of money to pay off the debt of the Uthmani Khilafah, by the Zionists, he replied, “I cannot give away a handful of the soil of this land of Palestine for it is not mine to give; it belongs to the Muslim Ummah who have fought for the sake of this land and watered it with their blood. The Jews may keep their millions; if the Islamic Caliphate is one day destroyed then they would be able to take Palestine without a price. While I am alive, however, I would rather push a sword into my body than see the land of Palestine is taken away from the Islamic State.”

Another timely reminder for the Muslims to reassert and establish “Islam First and Last” upon the Prophetic method.
