The role of Islam in the global secular liberal order has been a point of discussion over the past several decades. Subsequent to the Arab Revolution, the West and its cronies in the Muslim world have employed various counter measures to stem the growth of Islam and its role in politics. Particularly, the issue of re-establishing the Khilafah has been targeted.
One need not enumerate the failures of capitalism and its secular liberal ideas. We can all see and feel its consequences across the Muslim world, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Even in the West, alarm bells are ringing to safeguard the principles of the liberal world order and sustain their Enlightenment values.
Much to the displeasure of the West and its agents, the ideas of Khilafah, political Islam, the discontent with secular liberalism and capitalism have taken root in the minds of the Muslims. An awakening of the Ummah is upon us.
