Our hearts ache in pain and sadness witnessing the atrocities committed by the Zionist entity against our brethren in Gaza. As they suffer, we are reminded of the deep pain that has spanned generations, with recent horrific events in 2008, 2012, 2014, and 2021 and persisting till today. It’s time to ask—until when? Until when will our Muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza have to bear the weight of this oppression and Masjid Al-Asqa remain occupied?
Let us be crystal clear—the Zionist entity is an apartheid nation backed by colonial powers like America and Britain. It does not have the right to exist on occupied Muslim land. It is an illegal entity established by the British and continued to be propped up by the Americans for political control of the region. It is defended by the treacherous Arab regimes who essentially function as the IDF.
Since 1948, the Palestinian land has been under siege by the Zionist Entity. They’ve shown no restraint in their acts of violence, taking lives without a second thought. With no regard for honor or humanity, they rain down missiles indiscriminately on civilians, showing neither mercy for the elderly nor discernment between warriors and non-combatants. The same forces have cut off basic necessities like electricity, water, and fuel, leaving our brethren in Gaza to suffer even more.
The Zionist state is weak. Its knees shake due to cowardice. Its soldiers have fear in their hearts when they hear Muslim children proclaiming Allahu Akbar. It feeds on lies and propaganda. Its very existence is built upon the Palestinian people’s extermination, displacement, and oppression. It is built on the hate of an honorable Ummah. This reality was fully exposed when our brave brothers broke through enemy lines on October 7th, 2023.
O’Ummah of Rasool Allah (ﷺ)… the blood of Muslims is being spilled, what are you doing? What will you do? By Allah, what would the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ask you to do?
We must do the following:
- Reject External Narratives: Challenge the ongoing narrative on Palestine. It’s essential to understand and support the legitimate response of the Palestinian people against continuous occupation, oppression, and brutality. The narrative that positions Muslims as the transgressors is flawed; in reality, they are the victims of the Zionist entity.
- Understand the Depth of the Occupation: Palestine’s occupation traces back to 1917 when the British assumed control. With the UN’s assistance, the Zionist entity was established, culminating in a longer occupation of the blessed land of Masjid Al-Aqsa than the Crusader occupation. The vested interests of Western powers persistently back this occupation.
- Reject the Two-State Solutions: Dismiss the two-state solution. Every inch of Palestine deserves liberation, and the Zionist entity, built on the oppression of Palestinians, does not have a legitimate right to exist.
- Use Your Voice: We call upon the Muslim armies from Morocco to Indonesia to mobilize, tear down the nationalist borders, and liberate Palestine. Muslims should contact the embassies with the demand that they mobilize the Muslim armies to liberate Palestine.
- Spreading the Correct narrative to the Muslims: Encouraging our local masjids and the leadership to discuss the events in Palestine in a manner that pleases Allah SWT. Talking only about the Islamic solution that demands the liberation of Masjid Al-Aqsa and saving our brothers and sisters from further humiliation and massacre.
- Unify the Ummah: The Islamic solution that ensures the pleasure of Allah SWT is the unification of the Ummah under a single banner by reestablishing the Khilafah to enact the rules of Allah SWT across the lands. To achieve this, it is imperative to demand the ousting of current Muslim rulers — be it Erdogan, MBS, MBZ, Sisi, or others. These leaders do not genuinely represent the Ummah. Instead, they actively weaken the Ummah’s resistance and seek to normalize ties with the Zionist entity.
This is the only Islamic solution to liberate Palestine and any other occupied Muslim lands. It is the only solution that will protect the Ummah, as the Prophet (ﷺ) says:
“Verily the Imam (Khalifah) is but a shield from behind which the people fight and by which they protect themselves.” [Sahih Muslim]
Under the Khilafah, the Palestinian cause would take priority, and we would mobilize the armies immediately. It would provide a platform for Muslims to unite, breakdown the nationalist borders, and collectively support the Palestinian liberation. This would bring the Ummah solidarity, happiness, peace, and security. It will finally bring justice with the implementation of Islam.
وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَمَا ٱسْتَخْلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى ٱرْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًۭا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِى لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِى شَيْـًۭٔا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ
Allāh has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [Khilafah] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient. [An-Nur 55]
