The US has been openly misleading the public and the international community about the nature of political Islam, specifically the Caliphate. US history has solidified that the U.S. is very familiar with the caliphate state, and America is fully aware of the emerging Caliphate. The US has a lengthy history of good relations, but it chooses to conceal that part of history.
So while Hi Jolly’s gravesite stands as a testament to the fact that a Caliphate soldier left the Deserts of the Levant to assist Americans, it fails to make the link between the past Caliphate and the coming of the rightly guided Khilafah from the foots-steps of Prophethood.
While America uses the word Caliphate to create a narrative that frightens Americans away from the word itself, it cannot escape 1300 years of evidence, mercy, and leadership that have accompanied this system.
