Allah (swt) says in Surah At-Tahrim,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَّا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ – 66:6
“O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.” (TMQ At-Tahrim:6)
Strong and harmonious family structures are at the heart of strong, stable and successful societies. However, today destructive liberal freedoms, hedonistic lifestyles, materialistic capitalist ideals, and corrosive and divisive concepts are causing meltdown in societies. Aggressive foreign and manipulative domestic policies target Islamic beliefs, values, and practices in hopes to prevent the revival of Islam and its return as a complete way of life. Strengthening Muslim families is critical to securing the future victory of Islam as a complete way of life and reclaiming Islamic leadership of the world.
