EVENT: CRISIS IN PAKISTAN - Current Events & Future Direction

Lombard, IL - Hizb ut-Tahrir America organized a local community gathering to discuss the current situation in Pakistan entitled ‘Crisis in Pakistan: Current Events and Future Direction.’ The lecture given by Abu Baseer indicated that Pakistan is faced with numerous crisis’s including bombings, poverty, inflation and corruption. He emphasized that all these problems are systemic and are only symptoms of the real and underlying issue which is the application of a kufr system in Pakistan. He stated that the only solution to the crisis in Pakistan is the re-establishment of the Khilafah State in Pakistan as it is the proper means to solving the problems of Pakistan and the Muslim world at large. The audience asked questions on how the future Khilafah State will practically solve poverty, hunger and proper utilization of natural resources. Also, audience members were inquisitive about the foreign policy and international relations the Khilafah State will have.
